The official website of the Highland's Youth Parliament
This website is for all young people in the Highlands and has been developed in conjunction with young people and Pelican Design - a company based in the Highlands - and after much consultation includes sections that you will hopefully find more interactive, more colourful and more interesting. The site is about Highland young people and connecting you with each other, the decision makers who affect you, the information you want and is ultimately a showcase for the rest of the world when they visit the site to find out what it's like to be young in the Highlands.
The website will allow you to access useful information specifically aimed at young people. There are many ways to make your voice heard. You can find out who your school or youth forum representatives are, discover who represents your local area on the Executive Committee of Highland Youth Voice, email your area Youth Development Officer or raise an issue with the Chair or Vice-Chair of the youth parliament. Alternatively, you can take part in exciting debates on the "Rant & Rave" forums. If you would like to get involved with your local youth forum or if you aspire to be a politician and want to talk to the decision makers directly - you have certainly come to the right place!
