Young Scot Awards
The Young Scot Awards recognise and celebrate the amazing contribution that ordinary young people aged 12-22 make each day to their communities and country. Nominations of individuals and groups take place through the Sunday Mail and Young Scot website, with a closing date usually around February.
The Young Scot Awards has 12 categories - volunteering, arts, heritage, democracy, enterprise, sports, cultural diversity, unsung, environment, health, entertainment and community. One Young Scot is named from each of the sections.

How do I get involved?
There are many ways of
getting involved and using the website, you may just want to access information, or drop into the "rant and rave" and sound off or get involved with your local youth forum or you may aspire to be a politician and talk to the dicision makers directly - the choice is yours.
Whatever you choose this site is about Highland Young people and connecting you with each other, the decision makers that effect you, the information you want and is ultimately a show case for the rest of the world when they visit the site to find out what its like to be young in the Highlands.
