Highland's New Youth Convener

Ainya Taylor from Inverness took up the role of Highland Youth Convener on Monday. The full time role, based at the High Life Highland office in Ardross Street in Inverness is a bursary position running until September 2014.

Recapture Photography Project

Re-Capture is a youth-led photography project that hopes to inspire those who are experiencing eating disorders to fight and recover. By giving young people aged 14 to 25 an opportunity to express what recovery from an eating disorder means to them, the project aims to raise awareness of recovery as an individual and personal journey in which young people must be actively engaged.

an employability event for any unemployed young people aged 16-24. The event will take place on 21 February at Inverness Town House on a drop-in basis from 10 – 3.30. There will the opportunity for young people to chat informally with training providers, College, Employers, Job Centre Plus, Employability team and Skills Development Scotland amongst others.

Youth Music Theatre Search for Young Performers

Youth Music Theatre (UK) will be touring the country this January and February searching for talented young performers and musicians, aged 11-21. We invite all dancers, singers and/or actors to come along to an audition and take part in one of our group workshops. No need to prepare anything!
