Current Positions

Website Editor (General)

You will be responsible for the general maintenance of the website content by ensuring all information is relevant and up to date.

Unlimited positions.

Website Tester

You will be responsible for ensuring the website it in working order. You will identify errors within web page and source code. You will report broken hyperlinks and all other errors to the website administrator.

2 positions available; however this may be increased on demand.

Area Photographers

You will be responsible for taking photos for adding to our website design. We require photos of the following in each Highland area: photo of local youth club, photo of local youth forum meeting place, photo of local HYV reps.

1 position available for each of the 8 Highland areas.

Area News Reporters

You will be responsible for obtaining news from your local area that is relevant to young people. You will send news links and also write your own news articles for publication on our website and networking sites. Selected articles may be sent to our press office for publication in local newspapers.

2 positions are available for: Caithness, Sutherland, Ross & Cromarty, Inverness, Nairn, Badenoch & Strathspey, Lochaber & Skye and Lochalsh

New Features Developer

You will be responsible for consulting with young people to gain an understanding of needs in relation to online access. You will create innovative ideas for Highland Youth Voice to develop for incorporation into our online sites.

Page creators

You will be responsible for creating new sections for our website.

1 position is available for each of these sections: How to campaign for change; Setting up a project for young people; Abour councillors and MSPs; Advice sections including health, politics, learning, volunteering.
